Planning Commission

All members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

The Planning Commission functions in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors. The Commission is charged with reviewing variance requests, development and land use proposals, and re-evaluating the Comprehensive Plan. They then make recommendations to the Board of Supervisors based on their findings. These findings are then forwarded to the Cass County Environmental Services Dept and the County Board of Adjustment to aid in their decision making.
